EA Sports FC 25 is getting another round of fixes with the latest Title Update #18. This patch is now available for consoles and PC, addressing a handful of bugs across Ultimate Team, Clubs, and overall game stability. If you’ve been bothered by some odd behavior during matches or UI hiccups, this one might smooth things out a bit.
Despite EA’s focus shifting toward FC 26, they’re still patching the current game to iron out some issues that players have reported. It’s not a huge overhaul, but these fixes help keep the experience from feeling half-baked.
Fixes and Changes
Ultimate Team
- Fixed an issue where the Captain in Rush lobbies wasn’t always the player controlling the goalkeeper. That mismatch could get confusing during matches.
Clubs
- AI teammates now properly show the Role + and Role ++ icons on the tactics screen. Previously, those helpful indicators were missing, which made planning your strategy a bit tougher.
General, Audio, and Visual
- Updated button callouts, portraits, kits, equipment, badges, plus placeholder text and images to clean up some visual clutter.
- PC-only fix: The EA Connect pop-up will now work even when the Spotify widget is open. A small but annoying bug for those multitasking during games.
- Addressed some stability issues that could cause crashes or freezes. Always welcome.
- Fixed the Tactical Suggestions widget overlapping with other UI elements, which could mess with your view during matches.
Honestly, it’s a modest patch, but it’s the kind of thing that keeps the game feeling polished for those still playing before FC 26 arrives. What do you think about these tweaks? Enough to keep grinding Ultimate Team, or are you already looking ahead to the next installment? Hit the comments and let me know.
