As the developer plans to dive in deeper with what appeared to be a first-person shooter flagship game for EA, they want to satisfy the broad public, or better said, those who have remained playing Battlefield 2042. With Battlefield 2042’s Season 1 just around the corner, the developers step into a hot conversation on upcoming changes and improvements before the timeline arrives.
According to the official blog post by EA, the developer is focusing on addressing the core issues with their game ahead of the first season. It’s weird to see them lingering around, but still somewhat a relief for the players to hear that they’re being addressed. Maps, Experiences and Modes, Core Gameplay, and New Content is deemed to arrive with the arrival of Season 1.
The maps haven’t been relatively utilized without providing solid cover for players traversing through open areas. They are usually exposed to enemy eyesight, leading to a vulnerable position and inevitable firefight, which is why EA Dice will revise and populate the maps with additional static objects.
The development update was followed by a video provided by EA Dice, which includes a briefing on what comes next and how they plan to tackle the issues. With this said, below, you can watch the development update, including the official blogpost by EA, in which all additional changes have been detailed.
It’s good to see EA Dice intensively working on their game, trying to save whatever’s been lost and retain the lost popularity. As they have stated, Battlefield 2042 is here to stay for a more extended period before we witness a new Battlefield title.
