A day after the announcement acknowledging the issues in Dying Light 2, the developer Techland has released a brand new update that addresses some of the highlighted problems. If you’re unaware of what those highlights included, you can read this. Update 1.04 is here to get rid of a couple of issues.

Following the announcement on Sunday, the developer deployed Patch 1.04, which addresses some of the issues dispatched in the previous report, such as getting rid of the game crashing bugs, including new DLSS improvements. Furthermore, the update removes the artifacts appearing for those using AMD cards and fixes keybinding options which issues prevent users from setting up custom keybinds.

The complete changelog for Dying Light 1.04 can be found below.

Dying Light 1.04 Patch Notes

  • fixed various game crashing bugs
  • fixed AI dead body replication in co-op
  • added DLSS improvements
  • fixed issue when players couldn’t sell valuables to vendor
  • fixed artifacts being sometimes visible on some AMD cards
  • fixed mouse key binding options (meaning: you should be allowed to rebind your mouse buttons, we are still
  • working on an additional implementation for extra mouse buttons)

Dying Light 2 had a very successful launch, gathering thousands of players under its wing in just a short period. Its success is likely to continue, especially if the developers find a way to polish the co-op gameplay providing a robust and smooth gameplay experience for the whole party.
