Dune: Awakening just rolled out patch 1.1.0.13, which focuses on stabilizing servers and ironing out some frustrating bugs players have encountered. This update is a client-side download, so restart your Steam client to grab it if it doesn’t pop up automatically. Servers will be back online shortly.
One notable change: the option to betray Jocasta Cleo in the “Impact of Ecology” contract is temporarily disabled. Some players couldn’t retake the contract after choosing betrayal, which is a bummer if you wanted to mess around with that choice. The developers also tweaked dialogue in the “Planetologist: current: the Search for Kynes” contract. This fixes a weird glitch where players who left the Atreides faction couldn’t progress if they picked up the contract before defecting. Ever gotten stuck there? Yeah, me too.
Other fixes include the ability to change your guild description, finally, the sub-fief console name, and base blueprints—things that should’ve worked ages ago but didn’t. Also, the “Limit CPU Usage” graphics option now applies correctly to all quality presets. That’s a relief for anyone worried about their computer overheating mid-battle.
