Dumpster Gang will bring raccoon-fueled trouble to XBOX PC in December 2026, with support for solo play and co-op groups of 1-4 players. The game will also be available Day One as part of XBOX PC Game Pass.
Curve Games and Coyote House Games announced the project in an Xbox Wire announcement tied to the XBOX broadcast at Gamescom 2026. The pitch is simple in the best possible way. Players become mischievous raccoons, sneak into buildings, and cause as much trouble as they can before an exterminator shuts the party down.
Four raccoons, one very bad night
You can play alone or bring up to three friends along for a messy night of breaking into buildings, stealing junk, raiding snacks, scavenging dumpsters, and committing tiny crimes. The exterminator will keep chasing the group, so every snack run or junk raid can turn into a frantic escape.
The co-op setup leaves plenty of room for raccoon nonsense. One player can focus on grabbing loot while the rest of the gang creates distractions, climbs around, and makes a huge mess. Keeping everyone together may be difficult once the exterminator starts closing in.
Loot comes home with you
The junk collected during each raid has a purpose beyond causing trouble. Players can bring their scavenged treasures back to a hideout and customize the space with them. The game will also feature adorable hats with different abilities to help during future rounds of raccoon mischief.
Coyote House Games starts with a raccoon gang
Dumpster Gang is the first game from Coyote House Games. Jake spent nearly a decade working on animation projects for Marvel and Warner Music, while Sam brings multiplayer experience from his work as game director on Midnight Ghost Hunt.
The pair met at college and built the project around their shared love of co-op games and raccoons. Curve Games, whose catalog includes physics-driven games such as Human Fall Flat and Wobbly Life, joined the project after the team pitched the idea of playing as a gang of raccoons breaking into houses together.
Dumpster Gang will launch for XBOX PC in December 2026. A specific release day has not been announced, but the game will be available through XBOX PC Game Pass from launch.
