Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is about to get a fresh infusion of content and visual upgrades with the upcoming Daima DLC and a free patch that PC players will appreciate. The new update, version 2.20, is already available for download on consoles, although the DLC itself won’t unlock until July 17.
Even if you’re not planning to buy the DLC, the update is mandatory for console users. PC players are receiving a nice bonus with enhanced graphics included in today’s patch, at no extra cost.
What’s in the Daima DLC?
The first installment, titled Daima – Adventure Through The Demon Realm Part 1, will send players back into Goku’s shoes as he searches for the Demon Realm’s Dragon Balls. He won’t be alone, either, as companions Shin, Glorio, and Panzy join the quest. Expect to see demons, floating islands, and medi bugs, elements inspired by the Demon Realm anime, plus new lore tidbits called “Demon Realm Rumors” that deepen the story beyond the show.
The full Daima Pack includes:
- Daima: Adventure Through the Demon Realm Part 1 (July 17, 2025)
- Daima: Adventure Through the Demon Realm Part 2 (Scheduled for January–March 2026)
- Daima Pack Bonus
- New items like Ultimate Meat Feast, Mega Sacred Water, Purple Dino Horn, and Awakening Water
