Suddenly a lot of Dota 2 surprises in one place. Faceless advances forward as they crush Team OG at the second round in the Losers’ bracket. After the first game where team OG completely outplayed Faceless, it felt like OG had it all the way. But suddenly, a turnaround happened.
After the second round the score was tied at 1-1, making Faceless take a breather before jumping on the third and final round. Since the picking phase, it seemed like Faceless have the cards in their hands. Moving towards the next round satisfies mostly Black, who’s celebrating a birthday. You cannot get any better gift than this one.
However, as the game was going on, Faceless were dominating all the three lanes. That’s when we realized that we have a “hunters being hunted” situation. Faceless set up the pace in their own style, pushing OG out of the way by making them play according to their rhythm.
Sadly for Team OG, they were not able to counter Faceless’s gameplay in any way, which resulted in their loss. That being said, Faceless advance to Losers’ Round 3 with a chance to advance to the Losers’ Bracket Finals and have a chance to rematch Evil Geniuses.
