Dispatch has reached two million copies sold less than a month after launching in late October, the developer announced on November 19, 2025. The milestone comes after Episodes 7 and 8 arrived last week and follows an earlier surge that took the title to one million copies within about 10 days. AdHoc Studios marked the new total with a post and an image from art director Derek Stratton that centers the game mascot Beef.
Dispatch is a narrative choice-driven game built by a team that includes former TellTale developers. The game is available on PC and PlayStation 5 and became the best-selling title on Steam early in its release window when only the first episodes were live.
The AdHoc post is short and thankful while also confirming there are no new episodes this week. Fans hoping for ports to Xbox Series X|S or Nintendo Switch 2 should note that no such versions have been announced so far. Forbes recently reported that the team has discussed bringing the series back, but nothing like a Season Two has been formally announced. Given the game’s modest development roots and episodic rollout, any major follow-up will likely take time to arrive.
For an indie studio formed from familiar narrative veterans, this level of commercial success is notable. 2 million players in under a month changes the scale of possibility for the studio and makes Dispatch a rare example of an episodic narrative breakout doing big numbers on PC and consoles.
We're also sad there are no new episodes this week, but thank you to the 2 million players that have joined us so far. Wouldn't be here without you.
