Hell has broken loose in Diablo 4 once again with the launch of the Infernal Hordes. This season, there is a lot to talk about, including new legendary aspects, unique and mythic items, and new features like the Mother’s Gift reputation and the Infernal Hordes endgame mode. Sanctuary is being endangered by some scary and new demonic forces. In the new Infernal Hordes feature, available in both Seasonal and Eternal Realms, players will battle demonic hordes and encounter Lilith’s followers who forewarn Sanctuary’s impending doom at the hands of Mephisto.
There are well over 50 new Uniques and Legendaries coming to the game, including a Battle Pass, Season Journey, and a new Seasonal Progression system full of rewards.
Here’s what you can expect in the Season of the Infernal Hordes:
Face the Infernal Hordes
A new permanent feature, Infernal Hordes, challenges players to slaughter waves of demons, either solo or with friends. These battles are not just for glory but for bigger rewards like gold, materials, and loot as players take down waves of demons en route to confronting the Fell Council.
50+ New Uniques & Legendaries
The hunt for power intensifies with over 50 new Uniques and Legendaries added to the game. These items are not only valuable but also permanent additions, making your loot collection even more rewarding.
The End Is Near
A gripping new questline reveals surprising betrayals and calls for help. What could cause one of Lilith’s followers to seek your aid? This narrative twist could signal the approaching end.
Hellbreaches
New micro-dungeons called Hellbreaches offer a taste of the torments that lie ahead in the Infernal Hordes. These mini-dungeons are teeming with challenges and rewards.
What are The Infernal Hordes?
The Fell Council tempts players with power, but at a cost. In Seasonal and Eternal realms players face demon waves solo or with friends. This will grant them Burning Aether which will allow them to summon more hordes. The difficulty varies, and so as the Uniques, Legendaries, Masterworking materials, and Gold.
So, what are your thoughts so far on the new D4 season? Smash or Pass?
