Diablo 4 Season 15 Will Let Players Rebirth Eternal Characters
The feature will reset characters to level 1 while preserving their class, name, appearance, cosmetics, and Hardcore or Normal status.

Blizzard announced that Character Rebirth will arrive with Diablo 4 Season 15, giving players a way to move an existing Eternal character into the Seasonal Realm without creating a new character from scratch.
Rebirth will return the selected character to level 1 while preserving its class, name, appearance, and Normal or Hardcore status. Players will also keep their cosmetic preferences, including transmogs, pigments, mounts, mount accessories, pets, portals, and headstones.
The feature will also track the total hours played across that character’s Rebirths. That gives long-running characters a record that can continue from one seasonal adventure to the next.
What Players Need to Know Before Using Rebirth
Any equipment and items carried by the character must be moved into the Eternal Stash before Rebirth is used. Blizzard’s warning will explain that retained items are lost during the process, and players can remove the items or destroy them before confirming.
Rebirth will remain unavailable while the character has gear equipped or items in its personal inventory. The feature’s details are included in Blizzard’s Season 15 PTR information.
Character Rebirth should make the start of each season less repetitive for players who already have a favorite character ready in the Eternal Realm. The character will still need to level from 1 again, but its identity and cosmetic setup will carry over.
