Diablo 4 just hit its biggest Steam crowd yet
SteamDB tracked 59,061 concurrent players, which gave Blizzard's action RPG a new peak on the platform since its October 2023 launch.

Diablo 4 reached a new Steam peak at the time of publishing, with SteamDB showing 59,061 concurrent players. That put Blizzard’s action RPG at its highest point on the platform since its launch there in October 2023.
The timing lines up with Lord of Hatred, which has been getting early praise for its progression changes, endgame structure, and wider system updates. Diablo 4 has seen plenty of seasonal spikes before, but this run has kept building instead of fading fast.
Steam is still only part of the story. Diablo 4 also has a much larger player base on Battle.net and consoles, so this record says more about the game’s momentum on PC storefronts than its total audience.
