Blizzard released Hotfix 1 (version 2.5.0) for Diablo 4 on December 12, 2025, addressing several progression and reward issues that emerged after Season 11 went live.
The update is live on all platforms and should be applied automatically or through the platform store. The patch targets items that could not be Sanctified, an exploit that allowed rewards from the Echo of Lilith encounter to be claimed multiple times, problems with gifted Diablo IV products and expansion access, and general performance and stability improvements. Blizzard posted the full notes on the forums.
This arrives after earlier maintenance, including Patch 2.1.2, which addressed class-specific issues earlier in the year.
