Blizzard have announced that the new Season 9 begins on January 6. We will have a lot of things to do after the holidays come to an end. So, what is the new Diablo 3 Season 9 going to offer? Let’s preview the new season down below.
As Blizzard said on their blog, the new Season 9 will offer new cosmetic rewards which can be obtained by progressing through the Season Journey. Despite the Chest and Gloves of the exclusive Conqueror Set, a brand new Pandemonium themed portraits will be available. There will also be a new pet, Rocky, which is going to pick up your gold as you adventure through Sanctuary.
Also, new season journey rewards will be available. This is going to be available for players that’s been playing in the past few seasons and also reached the Conqueror in the Season Journey each time. The ones that still haven’t got four stash tabs via the Season Journey, they can still unlock an additional tab by completing a set of tasks at Conqueror tier.
Haedrig’s Gift
By completing some of the chapters in the Season Journey, you will get the chance to win a new Class Set of Haedrig’s Gift. The sets have been listed by blizzard and also a tutorial on how it works.
So, by completing the 2, 3, 4 chapter of the Season Journey you will be rewarded with three of the Haedrig’s Gifts. Each of them contains a few pieces from one of your Class sets. The bad part is that players can only unlock one Class Set per Season across hardcore and Non-Hardcore. This is why you should choose wisely.
The set you receive depends on both the Class and the Character you’re playing with when you open each of the Haedrig’s Gifts. In order to collect you a full Class Set, you will need to open all three on the same character.

- Barbarian – Might of the Earth
- Crusader – Thorns of the Invoker
- Demon Hunter – The Shadow’s Mantle
- Monk – Monkey King’s Garb
- Witch Doctor – Raiment of the Jade Harvester
- Wizard – Firebird’s Finery
