Blizzard has announced that an open beta phase for Diablo 2: Resurrected will be available soon. The long-awaited remake, one of the most beloved games in the Diablo franchise, will become accessible to players on Friday and be up for the weekend. Even if for a couple of days, fans are eager to put their hands on the hack and slash action role-playing game developed by Blizzard. So, when is the Diablo 2: Resurrected Open Beta phase exactly starting?
Diablo 2 Resurrected Open Beta Start Times
Diablo 2: Resurrected will offer an Early Access phase, which will allow fans who have pre-ordered the Diablo 2: Resurrected or the Diablo Prime Evil Collection to get Early Access and jump in the game a week earlier.
Both of the Early Access and Open Beta phases are starting at the following times:
- The Early Access phase will be starting on August 13 at 10:00am PDT.
- The Open Beta phase (accessible to everyone) will be starting on August 20 at 10:00am PDT.
The Open Beta is expected to flow in a huge amount of players during that period. It will last for three days only.
Judging by the writing, it is unknown if Blizzard would continue the Early Access throughout the following week and then continue with the open beta, as it is not clarified in the official post. It might be a fully operated Early Access followed by an Open Beta. The progress gained during the Early Access will advance to the Open Beta.
Diablo 2: Resurrected Open Beta Available Classes
The Diablo 2: Resurrected Open Beta will allow the fans to play with its 5 of 7 respectable in-game classes. Those are the following:
- Druid
- Paladin
- Barbarian
- Amazon
- Sorceress
The first two acts of the game will be completely accessible for everyone, including multiplayer, allowing partying of up to 8 people both in PvP and PvE. Well, unlike Diablo 3, which came at a later stage after release, Diablo 2’s PvP has really been exciting, as it allowed players to test their strength in ruthless and never-forgetting battles.
The Open Beta for Diablo 2: Resurrected will allow the developers to focus on bits and pieces and unearth potential problems while players stress the servers. All of the platforms are covered in this Diablo 2: Resurrected Open Beta, like Windows PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 players will be able to taste the resurrection of an old Diablo series.
