Bungie is finally making a move on closing the gameplay gaps in Destiny 2. Since its release, the game has been struggling quite a bit, and negative feedback has followed it all. The developers had nothing else to do but to fulfill their announcements and given promises. Since the Roadmap, this update should have and seemingly brought the needed changes to meet players’ requirements.
In General, the new update speeds up almost everything, which in terms should make the game more explosive than what it supposed to be before. We do not know how the players are going to accept the changes, but one thing’s sure, they are excited because of the many changes and adaption they need to perform to satisfy their needs.
Bungie has published a video content regarding the new March Update (1.1.4).
Overall, this update is more about Buffs than nerfs, and as the developers noted, they wanted to balance the game by increasing values and aligning them with some already high and overpowered weapons. The most important change is probably the movement speed and Supers recharge time, but you should check all the patch notes posted by Bungie.
Speeding up the pace of the game is vital, as players also needed this change. As things were going, Bungie just kept on losing dedicated players who wanted to make a full carrier in Destiny 2. It is sad to see these kinds of games decreasing their popularity and then trying to get back on the right track.
