Destiny 2’s Long-Awaited Loadout Fix Is Almost Here

Destiny 2 players have been grappling with disabled loadouts since before the launch of the latest season. The issue, tied to the incorrect application of mods, has hindered the gaming experience, particularly with the World’s First Crota’s End raid race on the horizon.

For many, including those experimenting with Arc builds or new Strand aspects, the lack of loadouts has become a tedious obstacle in the game. The community keenly feels the temporary absence of this feature, which allows seamless swapping across various builds.

Bungie Help’s Twitter has finally given hope to players, announcing a temporary fix targeted to be released next week. The fix will not pull items from the vault but will allow players to make use of mods and armor already in possession.

UPDATE: A temporary fix to re-enable Loadouts is targeted to be released next week. This temporary fix will not pull items from your vault.

A permanent fix is currently being tested and is scheduled to go live in a future release. https://t.co/PGadigZ6Lr

The permanent fix is being tested and scheduled for a future release, fully addressing this frustrating issue.

Loadouts have become one of the best additions to Destiny 2 since their launch with Lightfall. The ability to experiment with various builds effortlessly has elevated the gameplay to new heights. Re reverting to the old way, even briefly, is a challenging adjustment for many players.

The temporary fix is expected to go live next week, likely during Tuesday’s weekly reset. Though not a complete solution, it’s a welcome step towards restoring one of Destiny 2’s most beloved features.

The permanent solution is on its way, ensuring that this unforgettable addition to the game continues to enhance the Destiny 2 experience.
