Destiny 2 received Update 9.1.5.5 on October 29, 2025. The patch focuses on activity scoring and a couple of reward fixes tied to the Liminality Fireteam Op and The Desert Perpetual raid.
Patch Notes – 9.1.5.5
Activities
Portal
- Made scoring adjustments to the Liminality Fireteam Op to make it easier to reach 10,000 in-activity score.
- This activity has now been re-enabled.
Raid and Dungeons
The Desert Perpetual
- Fixed an issue where the Skimmed Surface Sparrow could not be claimed.
- Players will need to complete the NE Plus Ultra Triumph to earn the Sparrow. Anyone who has already completed this Triumph will be able to pull the Sparrow directly from their Collections.
- Fixed an issue where players attuning Epic Raid weapons could receive armor for alternate classes.
The full breakdown is available in the official Bungie update linked below. Players who were affected by disabled raid race items ahead of The Desert Perpetual launch may find these fixes especially relevant and can read more background in a recent piece on raid item disruptions about raid items disabled ahead of Desert Perpetual launch.
These changes are small but practical. The Liminality Fireteam Op scoring tweak should make reaching the 10,000 threshold less of a slog. The Desert Perpetual fixes clear up two frustrating edge cases players ran into during raid completion and weapon attunement. If new updates land next week players should see them in the usual client updates and platform version rolls.
