Destiny 2 Servers Go Down for Installation of Patch 7.3.0.2, Patch Notes and More

Destiny 2 is entering a brief but critical period of maintenance as Bungie prepares to deploy the latest patch, 7.3.0.2.

On December 7, 2023, Destiny 2 servers will be temporarily down to facilitate the installation of update 7.3.0.2. This routine maintenance is key to maintaining the game’s performance and introducing new features or fixes.

ACTIVITIES

CRUCIBLE

• Fixed an issue where the Dragon’s Bite Artifact was unintentionally working in PvP.

SEASONAL ACTIVITIES

• Fixed an issue where loot was not dropping for all players at the end of Riven’s Lair playlist activities.

• Players need to interact with the chest at the end to earn their rewards.

WARLORD’S RUIN

• Fixed an issue where Destiny 2 would crash when returning to Orbit from the Dungeon.

BLIND WELL / DREAMING CITY

• Updated Blind Well Rewards to have a better chance at dropping Dreaming City Weapons.

GAMEPLAY AND INVESTMENT

WEAPONS

• Fixed an issue where the new Undercurrent Legendary Grenade Launcher showed an incorrect perk in Collections.

ABILITIES

• Fixed an issue where Devour was not restoring health while the player was in an active Super.

REWARDS

• Fixed an issue where some Ghost mods were missing their icon.

Starting at 5:00 AM PST, Destiny 2 will undergo maintenance. While the patch notes for the update are currently missing, we have the maintenance schedule in detail. After the patch notes are published, we’ll update this article.
