Destiny 2 Servers Down for Maintenance and Deployment of Hotfix 7.1.0.1, Patch Notes and More

Bungie is taking the Destiny 2 servers offline on June 1, 2023, for scheduled maintenance. This process will also include the introduction of hotfix 7.1.0.1 across all platforms.

The maintenance period will kick off at 7:00 AM PDT. During this window, players cannot use sign-on and game integration features on the web, mobile, third-party apps, and the Bungie Store. This will cause a temporary halt to gameplay, with players removed from activities and unable to log back in until 10:00 AM PDT.

The new hotfix, update 7.1.0.1, will be released and available for download once the servers return online. Please note that players might be placed in a queue or experience sign-on difficulties due to background maintenance, which will still be ongoing. Additionally, clan features may remain offline until the maintenance is fully completed.

ACTIVITIES

CRUCIBLE

Fixed an issue where all players could hear all Crest pick-up sounds in the game mode Supremacy.

SALVAGE

Fixed an issue causing players to lose connection to the activity during the Boss encounter.

GUARDIAN RANKS

Fixed an issue in which the Champ title was not counting for progress related to Guardian Ranks objectives.
Fixed an issue in which the Rank 7 objective Centrifuse was not progressing when using the weapon in PvP.

GAMEPLAY AND INVESTMENT

ARMOR

Exotic armor focused at Rahool now has similar stats to dropped Exotic armor.
Fixed an issue where the Exotic Warlock helm Cenotaph Mask didn´t have the correct description.

WEAPONS

The two second window where a weapon cannot be fired after swapping to it from the inventory screen was reduced to ~1 second.
Reduced the size and intensity of the muzzle flash on the Perpetualis Auto Rifle.
Fixed an issue where Dark Decider did not have firing audio.
Trials Glaive Unexpected Resurgence:
- Moved Impulse Amplifier from the right trait column to the left.
- Added Swashbuckler and Voltshot to the right trait column.

ABILITIES

Fixed an issue where Hunters could lose their Suspending Slam after being revived.

BOUNTIES AND PURSUITS

Fixed an issue where some players were unable to progress the Into the Depths pursuit due to the H.E.L.M. portal not appearing.

8:15 AM PDT	-7 UTC	Destiny 2 will be brought offline for expected maintenance. Players will be removed from activities and won’t be able to log back in until 10 AM PDT. Ongoing Destiny maintenance is expected to conclude at 11 AM PDT.
10:00 AM PDT	-7 UTC	Update 7.1.0.1 will be available across all platforms and regions. Players will be able to log back into Destiny 2. Players logging into the game may be placed in a queue and may experience sign-on issues as background maintenance is still ongoing. Clan features may remain offline until maintenance is complete.
11:00 AM PDT	-7 UTC	Destiny 2 maintenance is expected to conclude. Console players who encounter issues updating to 7.1.0.1 should restart their console and try downloading the Update. Players who observe issues should report to the #Help forum.
