The world of tabletop gaming receives another jewel in its crown. Resolution Games has officially announced the release date for Demeo Battles, the sequel to their action role-playing system – Demeo. Gamers around the globe can mark their calendars for November 9, as the game is all set to launch on both PC and VR platforms.
While the original Demeo was celebrated for its co-operative adventuring, Demeo Battles promises a shift in focus. Moving away from cooperative storytelling, this title leans into Player vs. Player (PvP) battles, making the Demeo universe more competitive and riveting.
“We’ve crafted Demeo Battles from the ground up for PvP play,” says Tommy Palm, the founder and CEO of Resolution Games. “Demeo’s fans will find the game more accessible, offering a replayable experience for the tactics enthusiast.”
Fans were treated to a complete match playthrough featuring Jerry Holkins and Mike Krahulik of Penny Arcade. With this release, players can experience a vast array of characters, maps, and strategies to master. The matches are short, typically ranging between 15 and 20 minutes, ensuring that the gameplay remains crisp and intense.
“Demeo Battles is an innovative twist on an already incredible formula,” shares Jerry Holkins. “Each round keeps you on your toes, and I believe this game is a stellar addition to the tabletop gaming world.”
