Well, folks, we’ll have to wait a bit longer for Delta Force Mobile. Team Jade announced that this highly anticipated handheld shooter has been delayed until Summer 2025. It’s like waiting for your favorite dish at a restaurant—sometimes, good things take time!
The news came through a social media post where the team expressed their commitment to delivering the “top-tier experience” players deserve. They’ve decided they need more time to ensure everything is just right before launching on iOS and Android.
‘A Very Ambitious Project’
In their update on X, Team Jade shared some insights:
No matter how you slice it, Delta Force is – and will continue to be – a very ambitious project. This leads us to some news regarding the release of our game on mobile systems. After carefully reviewing our production pipeline, we’ve decided that the current release schedule for the mobile version won’t allow us to deliver the top-tier experience you deserve.
The mobile version will now launch in Summer 2025.
The game is already running very well on mobile systems, but we want to take the extra time to ensure it runs smoothly across a wide range of devices.
The community can look forward to an exciting year ahead! The developers promised a “wealth” of content planned for 2025, including five new Operators, seven new maps (at least), and other weapons, vehicles, and “cool features.” Initial impressions of Delta Force suggested it might lean too heavily into microtransactions, but that doesn’t seem to be true.
I’ve had my share of fun with Delta Force. I once jokingly said it’s like playing the best Battlefield game I’ve enjoyed in ages, those wide-open maps really resonate with me! Sure, there may be some similarities with EA’s franchise here and there; after all, who can resist those class systems and vehicle action? But hey, if Battlefield isn’t keeping up these days… why not enjoy what’s out there?
