Delta Force Crossplay: What You Need to Know Before Console Launch

Delta Force lacks crossplay now but will support it with the upcoming console release.

Delta Force has been a staple in the free-to-play shooter scene on PC, but many players wonder if they can jump into matches with friends on other platforms. The short answer? Not yet. As of now, Delta Force is strictly PC-only, so crossplay isn’t a thing, yet.

It’s a bit of a double-edged sword. The game’s popularity means thousands of players log in daily, but without cross-platform matchmaking, it’s PC players only, matched against PC players. Console versions for PS5 and Xbox are scheduled for release in August 2025, which means crossplay will finally be available, allowing players to squad up regardless of their device. Until then, if you’re hoping to jump in with your console buddies, you’re out of luck.

Yikes, the lack of crossplay also means cheaters continue to plague the PC scene, as there are no other platforms to dilute the player base. Cheating has been a sore point, with thousands of bans already handed out. Hopefully, the console launch will shake things up and bring some fresh air to matchmaking.

Currently, Delta Force does not support cross-progression, as it’s only available on PC. But once the PS5 and Xbox versions drop, you’ll be able to carry your progress across platforms. The official Delta Force website confirms this: “Cross-platform data sync means your progress carries over seamlessly—register once, play everywhere.” So if you start on PC, you won’t lose your hard-earned unlocks and stats when switching to console.
