Delta Force Crossplay and Cross-Progression: What Console Players Need to Know

Delta Force supports crossplay and cross-progression, letting players team up across platforms with some exceptions.

Delta Force has recently launched on consoles, bringing fresh Operators into the ongoing battle among G.T.I., Haavk, and Ahsarah. For those on console wanting to squad up with friends on other platforms, crossplay is available, but there are some quirks worth knowing.

Crossplay in Delta Force is enabled by default, so when you log in, you’ll be matched with players across PC and consoles in all game modes. The only holdout is mobile players, who are excluded from crossplay matchmaking. Kinda interesting, right? Why exclude mobile players? Maybe that’s what they were going for.

If you want to team up with friends on different platforms, start the game and crossplay will handle the rest. Everyone except mobile players can join forces or face off in matches. It’s a nice way to bring the whole gang together.

Not everyone loves crossplay, and Delta Force lets you turn it off if you want. The method depends on your platform. PlayStation 5 users get an in-game toggle to switch crossplay on or off under Game settings. Xbox players have to disable crossplay through the console’s privacy and multiplayer settings, which is a bit of a pain if you want to tweak it for this one game.

  • PlayStation 5: In-game settings – Game – Crossplay Settings – Crossplay Toggle
  • Xbox Series X|S: Xbox settings – Account – Privacy & Online – Xbox Privacy – View Details – Communication & Multiplayer
  • PC: No option to disable crossplay, so you’ll always match with console players

Yikes, Xbox players can’t just flip a switch in the game, which might annoy some. PC players have no choice but to play with console folks, too. Guess they’re hoping it works out fine.

Along with crossplay, Delta Force supports cross-progression. If you plan on switching between PC, console, or even mobile, you can keep your progress intact. To do this, link your PC or mobile account to your Level Infinite Pass account before jumping onto the console. Then, sign in on your console using that same Level Infinite Pass account.

Wow, that’s pretty handy if you’re thinking about moving around platforms without losing your hard-earned stuff. Who doesn’t want to keep their progress, right?

Have you tried crossplay in Delta Force yet? Does it work smoothly for you? Feel free to share your thoughts and experiences in the comments below.
