The latest lineup of PlayStation Plus Necessary games is live, offering an opportunity to Explore new adventures just in time for the holidays. Let’s look at what you can expect from this month’s offerings!
This month’s PlayStation Plus Necessary titles include the critically acclaimed It Takes Two (available on both PS4 and PS5), the Exciting, action-packed game Aliens: Dark Descent (also on PS4 and PS5), and the charming creature-collecting adventure of Temtem (exclusive to PS5).
You can claim all three games until January 6 if you’re a member. After that date, they will be replaced by another batch of titles, keeping things fresh and exciting for players. It’s worth noting that these games will remain in your library as long as your subscription is active. If it lapses, you’ll lose access, but fear not! Rejoining will restore those beloved titles.
The perks don’t stop there! Subscribers who opt for Extra or Premium tiers can also access an expansive Game Catalog with downloadable PS4 and PS5 games. Although December’s catalog has yet to be unveiled, last month featured heavy hitters like Grand Theft Auto V and Dying Light 2: Stay Human, so here’s hoping for more gems this month!
The Premium tier also offers a nostalgic trip down memory lane with classic titles from PS1, PS2, PSP, and cloud-streamed PS3 games. From December 10 onwards, classic favorites like Sly 2: Band of Thieves, Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, and Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy are available in the Classics Catalog.
Add some extra fun to your gaming weekend! Sony is hosting a free online multiplayer weekend from December 6-8. During this period, players can enjoy online multiplayer modes without needing a PlayStation Plus subscription, a perfect way to gather friends for some cooperative gameplay without any barriers.
