Death Stranding 2 – On The Beach looks set to arrive on Windows after an ESRB entry for the game listed a Windows PC version and slapped it with an M rating. The ESRB entry, which is still live at the time of writing, names Death Stranding 2: On The Beach for Windows and mirrors the PS5 version’s content notes. The rating text points to some of the sequel’s stranger details, like a guitar used as a melee weapon and robotic samurai, which match previous descriptions of the game.
That the ESRB has a Windows listing is the clearest sign so far that Kojima Productions intends to bring the sequel to PC. The original Death Stranding arrived on PC in July 2020 several months after its PlayStation debut, so a cross-platform rollout would not be out of step with how the studio has handled the franchise before. With The Game Awards just a couple of weeks away, a public reveal could line up with that event, but for now the ESRB page is the only hands-on evidence. Readers can view the official ESRB listing for the rating details.
Fans wanting more PlayStation-side context can check CPG’s earlier write-up on the game’s PS5 size and launch details in our PS5 file size report. Take the leak for what it is until Kojima Productions or publisher announcements arrive, but if the ESRB entry holds true, PC players will get a chance to sample one of 2025’s most talked-about games outside of PlayStation hardware.
