Death Stranding 2: On the Beach update just hit PS5, and it’s all about squashing a pesky stutter problem that’s been bugging players for a while. No new gameplay or content here, but this fix might finally smooth out those rough camera jitters.
Clocking in at 925 MB, the patch specifically targets an issue where the camera or environment would stutter while moving. That’s a relief for anyone who’s felt that annoying hiccup interrupting their exploration.
PlayStation’s support studio added some “other minor fixes and improvements,” though details are scarce. Guess they figured less is more for this one.

It’s kinda surprising we haven’t seen a bigger patch addressing more issues yet, and there’s no word if one is coming anytime soon. Last month’s update had its hiccups, so fingers crossed this one sticks the landing without causing new headaches.
We’re keeping an eye out to see if this patch quietly irons out other problems players might have noticed but weren’t officially acknowledged. If we spot anything, you’ll be the first to know.
