Deadpool arrives in Marvel Rivals with Season 6 Night at the Museum on January 16, 2026. The reveal trailer shows the Merc with a Mouth sliding into matches able to fill every team role and surviving a dramatic ultimate attack in an unusual way.
At the 0:51 mark of the trailer, Deadpool takes a no-hands selfie while Magneto fires an ultimate at him. The attack appears to hit Deadpool with his back turned and nothing else active, yet the blast does no damage. The trailer implies Deadpool becomes invincible for a few seconds while taking the selfie.
The clip alternately suggests the moment is a visual gag about his posterior absorbing the blow. Either way, the outcome in the trailer is the same: the Magneto ultimate fails to take Deadpool down.
The trailer also demonstrates Deadpool’s kit in combat. He cycles between blasting enemies with firearms and cutting them with twin katanas while spouting his usual wisecracks. The mercenary is presented as playable in three roles. He can be used as a Vanguard, Strategist, and Duelist, letting players slot him wherever the team needs damage, utility, or solo pressure.
The reveal keeps the tone aligned with the character’s chaotic personality. The trailer mixes gameplay scenes with character flair to signal that Deadpool will be both versatile and unpredictable in matches.
