Deadlock Adds Baba and Extends Its First Ranked Season to Nov. 5
Baba fights from a springing park bench and uses Threadsap, while Valve plans to introduce another hero Friday at 2 p.m. PDT.
Baba and her pigeons are now available in Deadlock, bringing a spirit-stealing yarn attack, tea-themed abilities, and a lively park bench into the fight. Valve also extended the first Ranked season, with the next season beginning immediately after its new end date. The details appear in Valve’s Steam announcement. Valve’s six-hero City Never Sleeps rollout schedule listed Baba among six heroes set to arrive over three weeks, with releases on Tuesdays and Fridays at 2 p.m. PT.
Baba’s Threadsap drains enemies’ spirit to make her more powerful. Her bench springs to life as a mount, letting her run, jump, and kick. Baba’s Brews bring tea into combat, and The Birds join the fray after tea time.
The first Ranked season, which was scheduled to end Oct. 7, will now run until Thursday, Nov. 5, 2026, at 2 p.m. PDT. The next season starts immediately afterward.
