Dead by Daylight has just released its 9.0.2 patch, which focuses primarily on tweaking the Animatronic’s add-ons and addressing a variety of bugs that have been affecting gameplay. While the changes might seem small, they could influence how players approach matches with the Animatronic and other killers, plus improve overall game stability.
Let’s break down the key adjustments and fixes you’ll notice after this update.
Animatronic Add-On Changes
- Security Guard’s Badge: Effect reduced to 25% from 50%.
- Streamers: Effect lowered to 15% from 20%.
- Party Hat: Duration increased to -20% (previously -50%).
- Bonnie’s Guitar Strings: Undetectable duration decreased to -100% from -50%.
- Foxy’s Hook: Duration extended to 6 seconds from 3 seconds.
- Endo CPU: Break speeds increased to 40% from 25%.
Some buffs, some nerfs. It’s kinda interesting how they decided to reduce some effects but increase durations on others like Foxy’s Hook, maybe to balance the Animatronic’s pacing?
