D&D is getting a real vampire class through a Masquerade crossover
Bound By Blood will add blood points, disciplines, and a Dark Ages adventure when it arrives on D&D Beyond in July.

White Wolf and Ghostfire Gaming are bringing a full vampire class to Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition through Bound By Blood, a new supplement that leans on the rules of Vampire: The Masquerade instead of stopping at the half-vampire dhampir options players already had in Van Richten’s Guide to Ravenloft.
The book will use blood points, disciplines, and an inner beast system to capture the feel of a true vampire character, and it will also include an adventure set in Vampire’s Dark Ages timeline, which moves the action back to medieval Europe.
White Wolf said on its announcement post that Bound By Blood is not the main reveal it has lined up for Gen Con. The same post framed the project as a separate collaboration, not the centerpiece of the publisher’s convention plans.
D&D Beyond’s partnered-content schedule lists Bound By Blood for July, and the wider Vampire: The Masquerade push has also kept the series busy on PC, including Bloodlines 2 PC system requirements.
