Darktide’s Shambling Horrors Event Is Live Until September 2

Missions with the Endless Hordes modifier advance the event and award Ordo dockets, Plasteel, Diamantine, and a cosmetic insignia.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide has launched its latest live event, Shambling Horrors, sending players into missions filled with infected enemies and massive hordes. The event is live now and will run until September 2, according to Fatshark’s Steam announcement.

To advance through the event, players must complete missions carrying the Endless Hordes modifier. Those missions turn the streets into a constant swarm of infected enemies, with the event’s story suggesting that the Admonition’s recent activity may be behind the outbreak.

Shambling Horrors rewards

The event reward track includes Ordo dockets, Plasteel, and Diamantine. Reaching the final tier also grants a cosmetic insignia, giving players one more reason to take on the extra hordes before the event ends.

With entire districts reportedly lost to the shambling horrors, the event adds a grim new layer to Darktide’s ongoing battle for Hive Tertium. Players have until September 2 to complete the reward track and claim the final insignia.
