Dark and Darker’s Early Access Hotfix #79 Notes

Exciting new updates and fixes in the latest hotfix for Dark and Darker!

If you’ve been into the treacherous depths of Dark and Darker, you’ll be pleased to hear that a fresh update has just dropped. The developers at IRONMACE are back from their Lunar New Year break, bringing with them some exciting changes that promise to enhance your dungeon-crawling experience.

This latest patch, dubbed Early Access Hotfix #79, comes with a handful of improvements focused on the Random Dungeon system. One particularly noteworthy change is the expansion of the Inferno dungeon layout to a sprawling 5×5 grid. With this increase in size, they’ve also added extra time to their timer, so there’s no need to rush through those fiery halls now! A little more breathing room can make all the difference when strategizing your next move.

The team has also introduced several quality-of-life enhancements. You can now save specific gear sets using the Squire feature, which I think will be a game-changer for many players who like to switch up their builds frequently. Plus, improvements have been made to the Marketplace and Achievements systems that should streamline your interactions there.

If you’re wondering about seasonal festivities, get ready for some love as we welcome back a familiar traveler spreading joy during this Valentine’s Day event! It’s lovely how these little touches keep things fresh and engaging within the game world.
