Dark and Darker Early Access Hotfix #43 Rolls Out Following Database Recovery

Ironmace has released Hotfix #43 for Dark and Darker after completing a crucial database recovery. A persistent problem causing the game to crash when players exited has now been resolved.

There was a bug where classes other than Fighters equipped with the Fighter’s Weapon Mastery faced penalties while using their default weapons, and players will no longer face issues with removing poison damage when hit by enemies using the Poisoned Weapon, alongside perks like Over Healing and Shadow Touch.

Furthermore, the Rogue’s ability to pickpocket will now be restricted correctly to appropriate zones, ensuring that this skill cannot be exploited in basecamp. For the full list of changes, you can check them below:

  • Fixed an issue that could cause a crash when the client exited.
  • Fixed an issue where other classes equipped with the Fighter’s Weapon Mastery would also receive a penalty
  • when using the class’ default available weapon.
  • Fixed an issue where poison damage could not be removed when hit by an enemy using the Poisoned Weapon, Over Healing and the Shadow Touch perk.
  • Fixed an issue where Rogue’s Pickpocket would work in basecamps.
  • Fixed an issue where characters could fall through gaps in certain spots in the Goblin Cave.
  • Fixed an issue where players could retain items if they were resurrected through the Altar of Sacrifice in a dungeon.
  • Fixed an issue where quests that required escaping from a dungeon after using an item could be completed without escaping.
