Cyberpunk’s 2077 latest update 1.1 might have fixed many known issues, but it has introduced a brand new anomaly that prevents players from finishing a mission. The so-called Down on the Street mission is no longer eligible for completion due to the new complexity added.
Apparently, Takemura, the AI that’s supposed to call the players with further details on the mission, ends the call, so the mission stops. The details about this bug were shared in a Reddit thread by a player who managed to record the whole bug-whirling issue.
While there’s no official statement regarding the issue, CD Projekt Red is most probably working on a fix, allowing players to grind throughout the main quests without having to alleviate the problems on their own.

Nevertheless, there’s a way to fix this, allowing players to get back to the mission progression. If you’re stuck here, make sure you call Judy before getting the call from Takemura. After calling Judy, do some of the available side missions and wait 24 hours in the game. In that way, Takemura restarts his call.
