Cyberpunk 2077 continues to get fresh content with update 2.3, arriving on July 17. The patch includes new quests, improvements to photo mode, bug fixes, and four new vehicles to hunt down in Night City.
Despite being out since 2020 and with The Witcher 4 in development, CD Projekt Red hasn’t forgotten about its neon-soaked RPG. The 2.3 update won’t just toss a few cars your way; unlocking these rides involves completing specific side jobs and quests, making it more than just a credit transaction.
Yaiba ARV-Q340 Semimaru
The sleek Yaiba ARV-Q340 Semimaru first appeared in the Kickdown comic series and finally makes its way into Cyberpunk 2077 with this update. It’s a sporty coupe that can be unlocked by completing the quests The Hunt and The Beast in Me. Doing so will trigger a new side job, which also unlocks the CrystalCoat feature for this vehicle.
Rayfield Caliburn “Mordred”
The Rayfield Caliburn “Mordred” is notable as Cyberpunk 2077’s first armored sports car. You won’t find it parked on the street; you’ll need to complete side jobs that include The Beast in Me: Badlands, The Beast in Me: Santo Domingo, Transmission, and Search and Destroy to unlock it. This ride exudes power and protection, making it perfect for those who want to roll with some extra muscle.
Yaiba ASM-R250 Muramasa
This update brings Cyberpunk’s first customizable motorcycle, the Yaiba ASM-R250 Muramasa. To unlock it, you must already own at least one Yaiba vehicle, purchase three vehicles via the Autofixer, and complete the side job Reported Crime: You Play with Fire. If you happen to fail the side job, don’t worry, you can still buy the bike through the Autofixer, which is a nice fallback.
Chevillon Legatus 450 Aquila
The Chevillon Legatus 450 Aquila is a weaponized truck, which sets it apart from the new vehicles. Unlike the others, it doesn’t require completing any side quests and can be purchased directly from the Autofixer. It’s the only non-customizable vehicle added in this update, but its lore ties into the game’s world, which you can uncover while roaming Night City.
With these new rides, CD Projekt Red is giving players more reasons to roam the streets and back alleys, hunting for fresh experiences. It’s kind of cool that you can’t just buy every car with credits; there’s some actual effort involved.
