Cyberpunk 2077 has had a rough launch, but the developers are still on track, trying to fix many known issues, creating a better gameplay experience for all those who had faced them. One of those issues is the corrupted save file problem, which apparently is now resolved thanks to the 1.06 hotfix. CD Projekt Red has also improved the memory management and stability on consoles, allowing players to enjoy the game without being solicited back to the menu.
Out of nowhere, a huge wave of reports has stormed in, claiming that Cyberpunk 2077 is suffering from corrupted save files and doesn’t allow players to load their data. This phenomenon could also be caused by duplicating existing items to gain a personal gameplay advantage and overcome some game difficulties without any bother.
All of the players who have reported this issue got themselves in trouble simply because they had no opportunity to get back onto their latest progression. Hence, it means that CD Projekt Red has had to do something in order to prevent the loss of players. Thanks to Hotfix 1.06, both PC and Console versions should no longer face the same issue.
