Now we know why CrossfireX’s Twitter profile posted something about an upcoming announcement. The expectations turned true as today’s The Game Awards event reimmersed us into another game trailer. Honestly, it looked fantastic. CrossfireX is supposed to launch on February 10 on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
Remedy Entertainment revealed a new trailer for its long-in-development single-player campaign, and CrossfireX isn’t dead yet. The company confirmed the package launches on Xbox Series X/S on February 10 with Smilegate Entertainment’s crossplay multiplayer modes as well! The new video showcases the steps he will be taking during the single-player adventure, and it’s the first-ever reveal regarding the solo play adventure since 2020.
The new CrossfireX will be available on February 10 as a free-to-play for all Xbox series X customers. For those who don’t know about the 2007 original game called “Crossfire,” its features were Counter-Strike-like with some Chinese elements put into the mix! With nearly $1 billion annually made from sales in just one country alone (China), you can see why they’re so excited about this latest addition to their growing library of games.
