Supergiant Games have released the new update for their critically acclaimed roguelike Hades, which blew away gamers’ minds this year. This update adds Cross-save to the Switch as well, and all you need to do is open your Nintendo Switch version of Hades, select cross-saves in the main menu, then connect either your Steam or Epic Games account.

Hermes is here with some good news: Our Cross-Saves update for HADES is out now on Nintendo Switch!💾↔️☁️

Please read the in-game Help & Info section for details. This update also includes various other improvements from our post-launch PC patches. #HadesGame #NintendoSwitch pic.twitter.com/UgwBRQsUOo

The new patch also brings some improvements to the Switch Edition to keep it as good as the PC version. If you aren’t familiar with Hades, it’s a roguelike that was officially released after a long time of Early Access on Steam this year.

Hades has been one of the best games this year. You play as Zagreus, the son of Hades, on a journey to escape the Underworld. On your adventure, you’ll be aided by the other Olympian Gods like Zeus, Hermes, Ares, Athena, etc. Zagreus will also get to battle many monsters inspired by Greek mythology, but what really takes the cake are the three Furies.

Hades is currently available on PC and Switch. We’d recommend you try this game out, as it’s a strong contender for the best game of 2020.
