During the Future Games Show presentation today, Modus Games, Dreams Uncorporated, and Syck showed a brand-new gameplay trailer for Cris Tales. Cris Tales is a turn-based RPG inspired by FF6, Chrono Trigger, and many more.
It’ll come out on November 17 for Switch, PC, PS4, Xbox One, but it’ll also be available for PS5 and Xbox Series X. However, it’s the time travel mechanic that makes this game unique. For example, if you splash water onto an enemy’s armor, you can send him to the future where that armor will rust off, and he’ll be vulnerable. But, some enemies become more potent when they order, so you’ll need to plan well before you strike.
Cris Tales will also feature an open world rich with side quests. The main character, Crisbell, is the one that can manipulate time and secure easy victories. There’ll be four more characters, each with a different purpose in battle. The art for Cris Tales is pretty impressive, and it stands out from most JRPGs.
