Crimson Desert Is Up for 2 gamescom Awards, With Voting Starting August 26

Crimson Desert has picked up 2 nominations at the 2026 gamescom Awards, where it will compete for Best PC Game and Most Epic. Public voting will begin on August 26, 2026, giving players a chance to support Pearl Abyss’ open-world RPG before the window closes the following day.

Voting will run from August 26 at 9:00 a.m. CEST through August 27 at 2:00 p.m. CEST. Players can submit their choice through the gamescom Awards user-voting page.

The official Steam announcement credited the Crimson Desert community for helping the game reach this point, thanking players for their support since launch. The message also addressed fans attending gamescom directly, with Pearl Abyss looking forward to seeing them in Cologne.

For a game built around huge battles, wild rides across Pywel, and plenty of cinematic drama, Most Epic feels like a particularly fitting category. The Best PC Game nomination gives it another chance to stand out among the event’s nominees.
