Crackdown 3 won’t include microtransactions

Microsoft has discovered that Crackdown 3 will be for the people, and will desire a lot of grinding to make the game more fun to everyone. In a recent interview with Windows Central, Joseph Staten revealed that Crackdown 3 won’t rely on microtransactions. Hence, no loot boxes will be added, but the way of acquiring certain things in the game is still unknown.

According to the original interview, Joseph Staten claimed:

We’re not committing to anything right now, we’re still experimenting with what’s best to do. We’re looking at what people find fun, tweaking the balance and so on. We also look at the long-term hooks. We know that we didn’t want to go with microtransactions. We’re not going with the concept of loot crates. There will be things you can unlock, increasingly cool things. Whether they’re rank based, or based on the number of matches, we’re honestly still playing with it. We’ve made hundreds of things to unlock. We can take that to many places.

Crackdown 3 is a “cartoonish” action-adventure game that will include an explosive multiplayer, in which the entire city the players are put in will be destructible. Since the game’s first announcement, this piece of info is considered to be quite vital for the outcome of the game, even before pre-release.

It is also expected that Crackdown will hold the top among the best franchise from Microsoft. Being a couple of months away from release, Crackdown 3 will be available for PC and Xbox One consoles for just $59, included with Xbox game pass.
