Counter-Strike 2 just rolled out a fresh update that fixes some annoying map search bugs and brings updated versions of several community workshop maps. If you’ve been frustrated by the wrong map loading when searching for Defusal Group Alpha or Delta, this patch might smooth out your matchmaking experience.
Patch Notes
- Maps: Fixed a bug where searching for Defusal Group Alpha would incorrectly load Anubis, and searching for Defusal Group Delta would load Vertigo instead.
Community Workshop Map Updates
- Jura: Updated to the latest version from the Community Workshop. Update Notes
- Grail: Updated to the latest version from the Community Workshop. Update Notes
- Brewery: Updated to the latest version from the Community Workshop. Update Notes

Audio
- Remastered various UI sounds to improve the overall audio experience.
Miscellaneous

- Addressed issues for running the game on Linux with SDL_VIDEODRIVER=wayland.
These tweaks might not shake the foundations of Counter-Strike 2, but they tidy up some rough edges that can make a difference in everyday play. I’ve had my share of map search mix-ups, so seeing those fixed is good.
