Control is an action-adventure video game developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by 505 Games. It’s somewhat of a unique game, and here’s the developer’s explanation of the game:
After a secretive agency in New York is invaded by an otherworldly threat, you become the new Director struggling to regain Control. This supernatural third-person action-adventure game will challenge you to master a combination of supernatural abilities, modifiable loadouts and reactive environments, while fighting through a deep and unpredictable world.
Control: Ultimate Edition was announced today to arrive on the PS5 on February 2nd and the Xbox Series X/S on March 2nd. 505 Games also released a next-gen trailer for the game, which showcases PS5 gameplay and the Performance Mode and Graphics Mode. The Performance mode will let you run the game at 60FPS, but on a lower resolution, while the Graphics mode will support 30FPS on a higher resolution.
The Ultimate Edition was delayed in the past, and it has sparked some controversy over its exclusion of free next-gen upgrades for PS4 and Xbox One users on the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Control is currently only available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
