CoD: Warzone Season 5 gets delayed for one day

CoD: Warzone Season 5 has been delayed for a whole day, and players have to wait before they jump in the new season. This was announced on Call of Duty’s official Twitter profile, with a reason of allowance for players to hit level 100 on their Battle Pass before they move onto the next season. It’s a weird statement, considering that players had a lot of time to reach that point.

With this change, the official release date for Season 5 is now Thursday, 8/12, at 9 pm PT. Below you can find the official announcement for the delay. Rumors are whirling around that Season 5 might be the perfect season for tackling down cheaters and providing solid riddance of the same. So who knows, maybe this delay is for a better anti-cheat purpose?

We’re giving everyone an extra day to unlock tier 100… but can you get there?

There is a player frustration nowadays in the CoD Warzone community. It seems that Activision Blizzard is not even trying to provide solid riddance for those using third-party software and humiliating honest players on the battlefield who want to have fun and nothing else.

Not everyone is excited about the new season, with multiple top CoD: Warzone streamers stepping off the grind due to the cheater issue involved. Recently, everyone’s been jumping to Apex Legends.
