CoD: Warzone Bans 15,000 Cheaters, more to come

Activision is on a rampant and neverending fight against cheaters. As time flows, new cheaters surface, hoping to prevail in the long-term, but sadly, Activision got ahead of them now. Apparently, Raven Software, one of the developers behind Warzone, has detected 15,000 Warzone cheaters recently. All of the new cheaters have been successfully banned.

CoD: Warzone has had a rough path so far. At first, the glitches that allowed infinite healing surely didn’t make it easier for Activision. Having players that use third-party apps to elevate their game style is surely not appropriate. Thankfully, Raven Software, even if their reaction time is slower than the mandatory, still reaches the point.

New #Warzone ban wave today.

Another 15,000 accounts banned.

More to come.

— Raven Software (@RavenSoftware) April 7, 2021

CoD: Warzone has constantly been banning players, with over 300,000 players banned in total since the start of 2021. Expelling them from the Battlefront has been exciting, and Activision is working on an even better detection system that will help them deal against these intruders easier.

According to some recent statements, Activision committed to enhancing its anti-cheat software with new monitoring tools and detection technology. It’s quite clear that the company has zero tolerance for cheaters and wants to make the game a better place for honest gamers.
