The long-awaited Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2’s Open Beta is slowly opening its doors for fans. With pre-orders available, Infinity Ward just announced that preloads for the game will unlock starting tomorrow. As usual, PlayStation owners will have the upper hand, as they will be able to jump into the open beta slightly bit earlier.
On Tuesday, Infinity Ward announced that the pre-orders through PlayStation could start downloading the game on September 14 at 10 am PT.

There will be two public playtests. One of them will be exclusively available for PlayStation pre-orders and starts at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET, while the second one is just two days later, also available for all PS owners. The BETA test is estimated to run until September 20, with other platforms, Xbox and PC, to follow up later.
Modern Warfare 2’s XBOX and PC beta will hop in as a part of the crossplay beta, which is planned to launch on September 22 – September 23. This one will also be accessible for those who own the game, while the rest of the fans will have to wait for September 24-26 to tackle it.
