InZoi is entering the life simulation genre with a fresh perspective, standing as the first real rival to The Sims franchise. Unlike its predecessor, this new title introduces a more intricate approach to home management and cleanliness. If you’re looking to keep your virtual abode spick and span, here’s how you can manage cleaning within the game.
How to clean your house in InZoi?
Keeping your home tidy isn’t too complicated, but it does require some supplies. First, you can buy a mop, broom, and vacuum cleaner in build mode. Once these items are placed inside your house, you can start cleaning. If there’s just one messy room, click on the floor. You’ll see an option to clean, where you can select the broom, vacuum, or mop. Interestingly, all three tools are helpful; however, a “premium” vacuum covers more area than the others.
Suppose you’re facing a particularly messy home with multiple rooms needing attention. In that case, there’s no need for manual labor per room—clicking on any of your Zois grants access to dropdown menus that allow you to order them to clean up to five different rooms consecutively. For larger residences requiring additional attention after reaching that limit, you’ll need to give further commands for continued cleaning.
How do you hire a cleaner in InZoi?
If handling chores isn’t appealing at times—or if you’ve run out of steam—there’s always an option for hiring help. Accessing the Pocket Market via your phone within the game menu lets you purchase home services at the bottom section and employ a cleaner there. Remember that you’ll need to let them into your house when they arrive; otherwise, their efforts will go wasted without access.
The current version of InZoi only allows for one-time service hires—there isn’t an option available for regular cleaning services just yet. Given how quickly homes tend to accumulate messes—as one would expect—they’ll often require manual re-hiring when necessary.
This new approach towards household cleanliness could appeal as an interesting gameplay element and resonate with players seeking realism in their life simulation experiences.
