Several beloved Call of Duty titles have made their way to the Microsoft PC store in a delightful twist for nostalgic gamers. This addition has sparked the talk about an upcoming inclusion in Game Pass. It’s like revisiting an old favorite recipe you thought was lost forever!

The recently added games include:

  • Call of Duty
  • Call of Duty 2
  • Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
  • Call of Duty: United Offensive

This is particularly exciting since these titles were previously unavailable on this platform. Many players hope they might soon be accessible through just as we’ve seen with other legacy games.

The chatter began when game industry reporter Knoebel tweeted about these new additions. His message hinted that Activision might be preparing for a significant drop into Game Pass:

Activision added Call of Duty 1, Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: United Offensive to the Microsoft Store. Probably preparing a Game Pass drop. pic.twitter.com/l6zhhYLjQq

If you’re wondering about console compatibility, both Call of Duty 2 and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare can currently be enjoyed on various Xbox Series consoles thanks to backward compatibility features. However, it’s worth noting that Call of Duty: United Offensive never made its way to console platforms.

The latest entry in Activision’s esteemed shooter series rolled out on October 25 across multiple platforms, including Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC. Remarkably enough, it was also the first installment available on Game Pass right at launch, quite a feat!
