Chicken Invaders Collection Preview Will Bring Solo and Cooperative Arcade Action to Xbox Insiders
Beginning September 24, 2026, the preview will let Insiders install the Chicken Invaders Collection Demo on Xbox consoles and Windows PC, with boss fights, an orchestral soundtrack, and co-op for up to eight friends.
The Chicken Invaders Collection preview will open to Xbox Insiders on September 24, 2026, giving players on Xbox consoles and Windows PC a chance to try the arcade shooter before its release.
InterAction studios is bringing the Chicken Invaders saga together in one collection for the first time since the series debuted in 1999. Players can take on intergalactic chickens bent on revenge against humanity, battle gigantic bosses, and listen to an original orchestral soundtrack while playing alone or with up to eight friends.
The preview is intended to help the development team prepare the collection for release. Xbox’s Xbox Wire announcement also outlines how Insiders can access the demo and send feedback.
How to join the Chicken Invaders preview
- Sign in on an Xbox console or Windows PC and launch the Xbox Insider Hub app. Install the app from the Store first if necessary.
- Open Previews > Chicken Invaders Collection.
- Select Join.
- Wait for registration to finish, then install Chicken Invaders Collection Demo from the Store.
How to send feedback and report problems
After playing, Insiders can complete the Chicken Invaders Collection surveys in the Xbox Insider Hub. Responses will give InterAction studios player feedback as development continues.
Xbox players who find an issue can hold the Home button on their controller, select Report a problem, choose the Games category, and select Chicken Invaders Collection Demo. The report form then allows players to provide the details needed for investigation.
