Check Out 7 Minutes of Fresh Gameplay from Capcom’s PRAGMATA

New gameplay footage from Capcom's PRAGMATA reveals combat and exploration on the Moon.

Capcom just gave us a solid look at PRAGMATA with a fresh 7-minute gameplay video that dropped from ChinaJoy 2025. This footage is a peek into the early moments of the game, showing off its combat mechanics and the eerie, sci-fi world set on a futuristic Moon. If you’ve been waiting to see what this game’s about, this clip might be your jam.

So, here’s the deal. PRAGMATA takes place on a dark, futuristic Earth’s Moon. You play as Hugh Williams, a guy who’s part of a team sent to check out a lunar research facility after it suddenly goes radio silent. But, guess what? A lunar quake messes things up, and Hugh ends up separated from his crew. When he wakes, an android girl named Diana has saved him. Together, they’ll try to find a way back to Earth. Sounds cool, right?

Combat in PRAGMATA isn’t just button-mashing. The devs say you need to break enemy armor first, which is tricky. That’s where Diana’s special powers come in handy, she can destroy armor so Hugh can hit the weak spots and do some real damage. The game features a variety of weapons and a bunch of robot enemies. Plus, there are puzzles to solve, and you’ll get to look at the world using both Diana’s and Hugh’s abilities.

Now, the video itself mostly revisits locations from the previous official trailer, so don’t expect brand-new areas. It looks like it’s from one of the first levels, kinda like a tutorial to get you started with the combat and exploration. One thing that caught my eye is that back in 2024, Capcom mentioned PRAGMATA would support Ray Tracing, but it’s unclear if that’s still the case. Hmm, I wonder if they changed their minds or if it’s just not shown here.

Capcom is preparing to release PRAGMATA in 2026. So, we’ve got some waiting to do, but at least this new gameplay gives us a solid idea of what to expect. Curious about the visuals and combat? This clip’s got you covered.

Check out the gameplay below and let me know what you think in the comments! Is this your kind of sci-fi adventure?
